1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies can also store or read information from a browser or device.
2. Our current use of cookies
The public website at betacheckhub.info does not intentionally use analytics, advertising, profiling or social-media tracking cookies. Normal public browsing does not require a cookie preference banner because the site does not currently place non-essential cookies.
The separate password-protected J & J Parsons proposal portal uses a first-party PHP session cookie to keep you signed in and support form security. It is a session cookie with Secure (over HTTPS), HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax settings, and is needed for the portal service. Browser session-restore settings can affect when a session cookie is removed.
3. Contact form and media
Submitting the project enquiry form does not enrol you in marketing or intentionally place a tracking cookie. The gameplay video is hosted on our own domain rather than through a third-party video platform.
Public-site game scores, sound controls, selected examples and calculator inputs are held in page memory, not persistent browser storage. The game does not request camera or microphone access. The public site's Google Font files are served with the site; the separate proposal portal loads fonts from Google, which receives the technical information needed to deliver those font requests.
4. External websites
Links to client sites, Companies House, the ICO and other external services take you to websites we do not control. Those websites may use their own cookies and should provide their own privacy and cookie information.
5. If our use changes
If we introduce non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies, we will update this policy and provide an appropriate consent control before those technologies are used, where required.
6. Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect how some websites work. Your browser’s help pages explain the available controls.
7. Questions
