Some projects begin with a specification. Others begin with a system that no longer fits, or an idea that needs testing. We can help you decide what to do next—and then build it.
Beta Check Hub is a new independent design house, so you will not be passed through layers built for volume. You work directly with the experienced audio and technology practitioner leading the work, from the commercial problem through design and technical delivery.
We scope projects carefully, communicate limits early and bring in specialist collaborators for clearly defined roles when a requirement needs them. That keeps the team appropriate to the brief without presenting a larger permanent operation than the business is today.
Three ways to work together.
Understand before committing
Technical Discovery
For an idea, inherited application or integration problem that needs a clear technical route.
We quote against the scope, delivery stages and level of support. There are no speculative package prices. Fees, tax treatment, third-party costs and payment milestones are set out in the proposal before work starts.
DELIVERY METHODOLOGY
Shared decisions. Visible progress.
01
Discovery
Understand the users, existing systems, constraints and the outcome that makes the project worthwhile.
02
Strategy
Agree the scope, architecture, risks and a delivery plan with clear decision points.
03
Design
Prototype the workflows and interfaces so the team can test assumptions before building.
04
Engineering
Build in reviewable increments, keeping design, software and audio decisions connected.
05
Testing
Check the agreed journeys, edge cases, accessibility and technical requirements against acceptance criteria.
06
Deployment
Plan release, migration, access, handover and rollback around the realities of your operation.
07
Support
Agree ownership, maintenance responsibilities and the next priorities as the product develops.
GOVERNANCE & OWNERSHIP
Clarity before commitment.
Our proposal should define the deliverables, acceptance criteria, responsibilities, assumptions and change-control process. Source-code ownership, third-party licences and access to hosting or accounts are agreed in the contract, not left to interpretation.
For procurement, tell us your security, insurance, accessibility and supplier-onboarding requirements early. We will confirm which requirements we can meet and what evidence is available; we do not claim blanket compliance or certifications.
The systems, products or processes you already have.
Important dates, an indicative budget and any constraints.
Your preferred way of working and who will make decisions.
You do not need a polished specification. A voice call, video call or screen share is often the most useful starting point. Share only a broad outline until suitable confidentiality terms are agreed.
