This work was carried out by Bluesy, the audio-production identity used by Beta Check Hub’s founder. It is presented as professional experience behind the new consultancy, not as a current endorsement by the BBC, Channel 4, Dice Entertainment or the artists involved.
Bluesy worked across Big Narstie broadcast and music projects, including Narstie’s Night Out for BBC Radio 1Xtra and production connected with The Big Narstie Show. The work combined artist and guest recording with programme assembly, music curation, mixing and sound for animated material.
A personality-led programme has to feel spontaneous while still moving with intent. Guest recordings, speech, DJ selections, transitions, sound effects and visual material all need to land as one coherent show rather than a collection of separate assets.
Professional recording, editing and programme-mixing workflows were combined with music curation, sound design and audio-to-picture synchronisation for broadcast and artist delivery.
The audio was treated as part of the programme structure. Speech, music, effects and DJ mixes were arranged around pace and continuity, while animation audio required sound design and timing that supported the picture.
The linked BBC page provides a public reference for Narstie’s Night Out, and an industry profile names DJ Bluesy among the programme’s contributors. Mario is publicly listed as a Big Narstie release on Apple Music.
